Return & Exchange Policy

At Surya Chamak, we want you to love your jewellery. If you change your mind, you are welcome to exchange your item or receive a gift card (valid for 6 months). Full refunds are also available if preferred.

Eligibility

All items are eligible for return except for:
  • Final sale items.
  • Earrings (due to hygiene reasons).

Condition of Returns: Items must be returned in perfect condition and in their original packaging to be eligible for a refund, exchange, or gift card.

How to Return an Item

  1. Notify Us: Email contact@suryachamak.com within 14 days of receiving your order.
  2. Subject Line: Please quote your Order Number and the word ‘Return’ in the subject line.
  3. Ship It: Once confirmed, send items back to the provided address within 7 business days of our confirmation email.

Important Return Notes

  • Postage: Customers are responsible for return postage costs. We do not offer pre-paid returns.
  • Tracking: We strongly recommend using a tracked service and keeping proof of postage. We are not responsible for returns lost in transit.

Refund Process

  • Refunds are processed within 2 business days of receiving the return.
  • Please allow an additional 3–4 days for the funds to appear in your bank account.
  • Refunds are credited to the original payment method and exclude original shipping costs.

Warranty & Faulty Items

Arrived Damaged?

If your item arrives damaged or faulty, we will offer a replacement, exchange, or gift card. Please follow the contact instructions below immediately.

1-Year Warranty Coverage

Every Surya Chamak piece is covered by a 1-year warranty from the date of purchase. This covers issues such as colour fading, broken chains, or loose stones.

  • How to Claim: Email photographic evidence to contact@suryachamak.com within 7 days of noticing the issue.
  • Resolution: We will offer a replacement, exchange, or gift card.
  • Limit: This coverage is valid for one occasion per item within the warranty period.

Cancellations

Time Limit: You may cancel an order within 1 hour of placing it.

Late Cancellation: Once the 1-hour window has passed, the order cannot be cancelled. You must wait to receive the order and then follow the standard Return Policy (return postage fees will apply).

Promotional Discounts: Terms & Conditions

From time to time, we offer promotional codes. These are subject to the following terms:

  • Usage: Only one code can be used per order.
  • Timing: Codes cannot be applied retrospectively after an order is placed unless explicitly stated.
  • Limits: A maximum spend limit of £1000 (pre-discount) applies per order.
  • Exclusions: Certain brands or product categories may be excluded.
  • Non-Transferable: Codes are for your personal use on your own account. They cannot be exchanged for cash, sold, or shared publicly (e.g., on social media or forums).
  • Abuse: If we suspect abuse of a code (e.g., selling it to others), we reserve the right to cancel the code and suspend your account without notice.
  • Lost Codes: We are not responsible for lost codes and are not obliged to provide replacements.
