In March 2024, Reena, founder of Surya Chamak, visited Saikripa, an NGO in Noida, New Delhi, that provides a safe home for parentless and abandoned children found on the streets by the local police. While the police make every effort to locate the families of these children, Saikripa steps in when no family can be found. After witnessing the children's circumstances and speaking with the dedicated staff at Saikripa, Reena made it her mission for Surya Chamak to help in any way possible, offering these children hope and a chance for a brighter future.
